Tea with assisted living
I was blessed again to share tea with an assisted living on Friday. They enjoyed hearing me play I'm a little teapot. A bit more practice I need tho. I shared a tea Kenyan way with black tea, milk and sugar. Also shared Chocolate Mint Rooibos tea. It was great to hear them say they enjoyed very much. The reason I love doing this is I have a passion for people, tea and God. God has showed me again to serve with love. I love serving and even tho I may not get rich from doing this I know I am getting rich in God's love. What a great God we serve. Sense of worth rooted and grounded in the love of God. Operate in the fruit of the Spirit. Enjoy what God is showing you each day and do His will. Love those around you, share His word and a cup of tea. It is a wonderful experience. God's blessing to you!

February Teas
Try some Tealightful Treasures Raspberry Tea and put 2-3 raspberries in with the tea. It is yummy!
Also, could do the same with Strawberry Tea and put in with the tea a couple of strawberry slices..
I am excited to be traveling a week from Friday first to Des Moines, Iowa for a tea and then down to Texas for a home tea tasting at a good friend's and then to Waco for tea at an assisted living.
We are going to be trying some chocolate with a green tea and a strawberry or raspberry tea with a couple of slices of strawberries or raspberries. Might try Ginger Peach tea.
Please pray as we make the travel by car to have good weather and safety there and back. I look forward to the teas and visiting with friends. We are also going to be visiting some colleges for our second son.
Have a blessed Thursday!

Prayer Tea Basket
I had started a tea basket ministry with some women about two years ago. We would put together tea baskets for women and send them off to a group that God would provide for us. We would pray over the baskets before they left us. We always were amazed on how many baskets God would provide. Always more than we imagined. God then put on my heart to have tea with assisted living homes, community centers...individuals. He gave me the name Traveling Tea with Jesus. I have done tea here in Minnesota and Texas.
What God has now shown me through another website another idea. Prayer Tea Baskets. Tea with Jesus.
We will be putting together Prayer Baskets which will include a notebook or journal, pen, highlighter with sticky notes, small pocket Bible, tissue, devotional book, tea... and anything else God would provide.
I am praying that God will provide us with prayer baskets for me to take as I travel to Iowa and Texas in February to do some teas. It would be wonderful to share some prayer baskets with the assisted living groups.
Enjoy your tea with Jesus today and be in His word.

Tea
January is a wonderful time for a tea party! The mad rush of the holidays is over and people
are ready to relax, refresh and renew!
The new year brings time of reflection and resolutions to improve our health and diet.
Not only is it time for change, it’s National Hot Tea Month! It’s the perfect time to drink more tea,
boost antioxidants and improve your health!
Our featured product for National Hot Tea Month is All Things Going Green
Tea Sampler. This exciting sampler will be here for a limited time only.
Have a Dessert In A Tea Cup and Tea & Chocolate Tasting!
Did you know?
The sampler contains green tea blends that contain white tea, exquisite quality dried fruits
and exotic ingredients like Orchid extract? The blends are also made with very high grade
Sencha teas from many countries including Japan!
Did you know?
Green teas can be infused multiple times? Green teas are made with water that is hot
(not boiling). Due to the water temperature, the leaves are not “spent” as quickly and won’t
become bitter from over steeping!
Green Teas Are An Excellent Value!
The retail value of the four 2oz. bags of tea in All Things Going Green is, $33.00. The sampler
makes 120 cups of tea.
A Cup Of Tea Costs How Much?
Infuse Once
120 cups = .28 cents
Infuse Twice
240 cups = .14 cents
Infuse Three Times
240 cups = .7 cents
Tea & Chocolate Tasting!
Did You Know?
Pairing tea with a small amount of good quality chocolate can be a fun and safe way to
help people enjoy an indulgence without breaking their weight loss goals!
Tea & Chocolate Tasting Guidelines:
As a rule, green and herbal teas go well with white or milk chocolate. Any tea that takes milk
(such as English Morning) would also pair nicely with milk chocolate. Black flavored teas pair
well with plain semisweet or bittersweet chocolate. Try using different percentages of dark chocolate
for tasting. The higher the percentage of cacao, the less sweet the chocolate
will be. Try pairing a less sweet chocolate with a tea that has some natural sweetness.
Example: Taste 72% dark chocolate with Raspberry Royal Rooibos.
When choosing tea and chocolate think about pairing subtle flavor profiles.
Example: Oolong Orange Blossom pairs nicely with orange flavored dark chocolate.
Tasting Order:
Sip Tea (without sugar!)
Taste Chocolate
Sip Tea Again!
Observe how the chocolate actually sweetens their palette making
the tea taste sweet even without sugar! This is a great concept for indulging without
the guilt! Tealightful Treasures Dessert Teas also make a great substitute for dessert
even without chocolate!
Drink This Instead Of That!
Did You Know?
Evidence has shown that Americans get 20% of their daily caloric intake from beverages.
There is also evidence that cutting back on sugary drinks or replacing them with unsweetened
tea may help with weight control and lower the risk of diabetes.
Green tea is an excellent choice for children and adults for many reasons:
1. It’s low in caffeine - about 20 mg. for a oz. cup!
2. It’s high in antioxidants!
3. It contains about 436 mg. of vitamin C per cup!
4. Research suggests that it may increase metabolism
Antioxidants and Vitamin C
Green tea has a high content of vitamins and minerals. It contains about the same amount
of vitamin C as a lemon, approximately 436 mg. Black tea contains only 239 mg. of vitamin
C. Green tea also contains several B vitamins, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid and pantothenic
acid. It also contains magnesium, potassium and manganese. Last but not least green tea
is high in fluoride. A cup provides approximately 0.1 mg. of fluoride, which is higher than a
cup of fluorinated water!
