It is only the Lord's mercies that have
kept us from complete destruction.
Great is his faithfulness; his loving-
kindness begins afresh each day.
-LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23 TLB
During the course of your day, pray for a friend.
While you're resting, running errands, having
your quiet time, or listening to music, take a moment to pray. Pray for wisdom for your friends who have children-they might need special insights as they raise those precious ones.
In Colossians 1:9-12, we find a wonderful model for friendship prayer. This
prayer covers.
•
having spiritual wisdom and understanding
living to honor and please the Lord
producing every kind of good fruit
growing as you learn to know God better
and better.
being strengthened with all of God's glorious
power so you will have all the endurance and
patience you need.
Read the passage:
We have not stopped praying for you since we
first heard about you. We ask God to give you
complete knowledge of his will and to give you
spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the
way you live will always honor and please the
Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
We also pray that you will be strengthened with all of his glorious power so you will
have all the endurance and patience you need.
May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father.
He has enabled you to share in the inheritance
that belongs to his people, who live in the light
(Colossians 1:9-12 NLT).
What an armor of protection and growth you
can give your friend with a prayer like this! Let us tell you from experience-
having friends praying for us brings
tremendous comfort.

By end of war, North Americans had stopped drinking green tea and would only take up again much later.

4 tablespoons dried hibiscus loose leaf tea
4 cups water
ice cubes for serving
1 tablespoon date syrup (hibiscus tea can be tart when unsweetened)
juice of half a lime or lemon
a few cloves
cinnamon stick
handful fresh mint leaves
for that extra punch add a little piece of fresh ginger
Pour water in a large glass jar and add the other ingredients.
Add additional spices and herbs, as desired.
Cover and let chill in the fridge overnight or at least a few hours. I wouldn’t recommend more than 24 hours because it may get too bitter. When the tea is brewed it will turn a beautiful deep dark ruby red color.

"It also contains epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG, which is another powerful antioxidant that helps prevent cellular damage."
Not only that, but the high levels of antioxidants in green tea have also been known to help lower cholesterol, improve metabolism and weight loss, and even help to prevent certain cancers.Traveling Tea with Jesushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08473626766383002837noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8997294682483700283.post-54008272049160974662022-01-27T19:16:00.001-06:002022-01-27T19:16:26.190-06:00Jesus loves you.
